Benchmark your students and school with ICQ results 

Through the detailed results provided, the ICQ offers teachers a unique resource for benchmarking their school’s chemistry learning against others from around the globe. Results are provided individually for students, as a class results report, and in State and Global formats.

This provides a number of benefits for teachers and students:

For teachers: The ICQ is not an assessment of chemistry knowledge, but rather an opportunity to promote Chemistry and for teachers to gauge the understanding their students have of the subject. Each school can also compare their student’s results against other schools in their state and country.

For students: All students receive a Certificate of Achievement along with detailed results, with 40% of all entrants typically receiving Certificates of Merit to acknowledge their efforts at Credit, Distinction and High Distinction levels. Students who obtain a perfect score of 30 out of 30 receive a Lapel Pin. Students are encouraged to engage with the questions and are not penalised for incorrect answers. Students will only be competing with other students from their country or state, in the same year level.
